An appeal to fellow developers, webmasters and website owners.
Make 2007 an IE-FREE Year!
Yesterday afternoon, I added a banner to my site. This banner only displays if you visit from IE and it suggests that you get Firefox instead. This new banner, along with the fact that my site does not render correctly in most versions of IE sparked somewhat of a debate with my sister's boyfriend, Phil. The above link helps to clarify why I've created this banner and why I do not like IE.
I may need to tighten up the decision on when to display the banner, because IE7 actually does render the site correctly, and almost identically to Firefox 2, Opera 9, Safari and Konqueror.
