Ze Frank on consciousness
I've mentioned my own take on free will here before and it's quite consistent with what Ze is talking about in this vlog post. Here's a brief and updated version on the Brandon theory of free will:
I don't think that we can actually decide to do things. We can realize that we have decided to do things. Much like in Schroedinger's theory of cats, by so realizing we cause the decision to have been made. WEIRD! The point is that free will isn't so much will as probabilistic observation.
