Pictures!
Awesome team event to hike Rattlesnake Ridge... I dropped a rock on my arm (last pic).
It's probably obvious from the pictures of my ammunition reloading bench and press that I've probably started a foray into firearms ownership. Well here are the pictures there of.
I gets reloading press for birthday, I sets it up and I loads 1 live round. I rocks. The round even chambers... can't wait to take it to a range and try it out.
Some old pics that I just got around to uploading from a Bike Expo that had a Trials demo. Pretty impressive riding, pretty crappy photography.
Also, thanks to that recruiting trip, I got to see Gwen and Erin (and Dawud and his family) and here are the pics from that. I also took a while to go out and do some macro shooting while we were up at Dawud's parents' place.
I was down in San Francisco doing some recruiting and got to take a morning off to do some sight seeing. Mostly just went and played photog, so here are the results!
Starting work on a workbench for my garage. Pretty simple design, only making 22"x72" total surface, 2x4 frame, 4x4 legs, 2x8 top, 1/4" birch ply surface.

Day two added now... check out the steel belted mounting section... for more power ;)

Day three, completion added. I might end up with another row or two of finishing screws on the surface or something like that, but otherwise, stick a forck in 'er.
Took a motorcycle ride with a couple of coworkers, this is my first shot at making helmet cam videos on the motorcycle, so I uploaded most of what I shot. It's not really that exciting and all you can hear is wind noise for the most part. The weather and the ride were beatiful though. Pics are coming too.
I finally made it out to another local-ish mountain. Good times, although I
didn't ride that well really. I also definitely fell off a cliff.
Pictures (and eventually videos) from our 9 day Ski, Snowboard and Insanity trip to the Denver Colorado area. 5 days at Winter Park, 2 at Vail, 1 at Arapahoe Basin (followed by a night at Keystone) and 1 day at Keystone. It was great fun to see my Chicago peeps and Snowboarding in Colorado is amazing.

Apologies for some blurry pictures. I had my lens set to manual focus and didn't notice in the dark :(.
Taken by the mother on a trip to the Bay Area to see the sister and the niece.
I spent more dollars than I'll admit here on banana plugs and speaker wire. It's all very pretty and because I used it to bi-amp my front speakers I actually get improved sound quality out of the deal too.
Jonathan, Austin and I went and saw the Museum of Flight here in Seattle. It was neat.
First set of pictures from my new Digital Rebel XT, and the weekend that my sisters and niece came to visit me (YAY!).
Videos from the new helmet cam snowboarding. Nothing terribly interesting here, but I'll try to describe them each. Sizes range from 30-120MB. Camera works great in terms of capturing video (even in night under the lights), but fails for battery life in the cold.
Pictures of the tallest tower of Rockbox targets ever created in the known universe. Pictures taken by JdGordon (the roommate), video taken with my shiny vHoldR helmet cam.
Images of my fantastic journey from Chicago to Seattle. 2400 miles, 69 hours, 8 states, 70+ degree temperature spread, more fun than you could shake a stick at.
Lots of snow fell in Seattle, so logically we went to the mountains to find more snow and go snow boarding! This set introduces my winter roommate Jonathan (JdGordon of Rockbox).
Well as the name implies, these are just miscellaneous pictures of stuff, hope they make some weird kind of sense to you :)
Pictures from my V for Vendetta / Guy Fawkes Day party.
Some pictures from the past few weeks... soup I made, progress of cleaning and settling in, installing another Loobman and my Halloween costume
My new desk and speakers came yesterday! The speakers are all setup and sound fan-frigging tastic. The desk is _mostly_ built, but still has a few more pieces to attach. It came missing 4 screws and washers, so I can't quite finish until I get those.
I finally made it down to Oakland to meet my 2 month old niece Erin. She's super cute and super well behaved and I really enjoyed learning to and helping to take care of her for the weekend.
Well, it's been a while since I took Ninjai apart to do the valve adjustment and carb balance routine. Yesterday the cowl bracket that I ordered to replace the bent one showed up so I finished my glue job on the upper fairing last night and got everything put back together today. Took a nice 50 mile ride, despite the rain, and everything seems to be in order. The only assembly trouble I encountered was with one of the nuts for the R1 mirrors, and the only remaining issue problem is that the windshield sits a little bit lopsided because of the imperfections in my glue job.
So, it turns out that I suck at caring for motorcycle chains, so I got something to help. This little device lets me just give a squeeze bottle a 1 second squeeze before I take off to keep my chain constantly lubricated. If you're a rider, check out Loobman for yourself. I've already ordered a second one for Ninjai.
Mom was in town for the weekend and we hiked Mount Dickerman Trail. Great fun, very tiring. 8.5 miles round trip, 3800 vertical feet each way. As the pictures show, amazing views!
Started learning how to work on engines by doing the valves and carbs on the little Ninja. I knew it had some plastics damage which would become problematic as I worked under the fairing, but unfortunately it turned out to be more than plastics. There is a bent cowling bracket, 2 of the three bolts which hold the instruments on were broken and there's the plastics damage. Oh well, the plastics on the fairing and instruments are in repair and a new cowling bracket is on order. It's been a great learning experience working on her and it's great to have a garage to work in.
I bought a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja 250 today. Here it is with my other bike, they're pretty!
Taken during the inspection of my hopefuly soon to be home in Seattle.
My first weekend with Amazon was the summer picnic. Was pretty cool -- more family/kid oriented than I expected, but fun nonetheless.
I went with my friend Jessica to Fest out here. Not nealy as neat of an experience as the big standing festivals in Bristol and Minnesota. I felt like the joust was very well done though. Pics are therefor of the joust.
These are pics of me... with various people in various situations. I put these here and not elsewhere because they kinda show things about me I guess... who knows. I'll get to describing each of them sometime... maybe...
Went to the warren dunes, had fun, got a sun burn :-P
More pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/david.simons/2007_06_02WarrenDunes?authkey=TsYJfwJ67kM
Pictures from my mom and my trip to the Smoky Mountans and the Tail of the Dragon. Pics up through 3074 are from the Twentymile trail starting at the Twentymile trailhead. Through 3093 are on the Lakeshore Trail from the Fontana Dam trailhead. Through 3146 are on the Lost Cove Trail and the rest are on the Appalacian Trail.
Kelli and Vito got married Saturday. It was a very nice and fitting wedding for them and it was cool to see some people that I don't see that much of (including Kelli and Vito).
The older sister was in town this weekend and I was hosting Mother's Day. Oh yeah, she's pregnant, I'll be an uncle in a couple of months!
Whee! I had some very fun visitors this weekend who surfed my couch. They drove down from Montreal, where they are studying, but they're all from France. Much fun was had and definitely a testament to how awesome the Couch Surfing Project is (http://www.couchsurfing.com). Most of these pictures (all but the first 2) were taken by Marie because she did not have a camera with
her.
One of my closest friends from high school had a wedding ceremony and party in DC. It was great to see Peter and to meet Lauren in person finally, and they seem like they'll be a very happy couple. Some of these are by Yau and some are by me (low numbers Yau, high numbers me).
My custom sensor bar. In it's final condition it has better range and responsiveness than the original. Battery life on the 4AAAs that I'm starting with should be in the 9-10 hour range, I miscalculated originally and thought that it'd be much more. I'll probably end up converting to AAs at some point, but 10 hours with 15 minute charger and extra batteries on hand won't kill me.
First I built shelves, then I bought a projector and finally I re-arranged my apartment to let me watch movies on my projector from my desk.
I toured the whole National Mall area of DC on my first full day there.
Went to Tucson to visit my father and his family for Christmas
Quick crappy pictures of the wii sensor bar LED arrangement
Pictures from my Wii launch line. I spent 10 hours here. More on that at http://lostlogic.livejournal.com/117086.html
Pictures relating to http://lostlogic.livejournal.com/109378.html
Well, I went to Las Cruces, New Mexico to watch the X PRIZE Cup and variously wander and go to Mexico... didn't got to Mexico, but did lots of desert wandering.

Check out my LJ on the subject at http://lostlogic.livejournal.com/112623.html.
Pictures from my housewarming party, nothing much exciting here.
Yay MN/SP Renfest/State Fair pictures for 2006!
Pictures either taken, or purchased by Alex on the trip. All captionsd courtesy of Alex as well :)
A trip to Arizona to see my sister older sister, Gwen, graduate from massage therapy training. It was pretty awesome and it seems like she's really passionate about it and good at it.
I tried to cull down the number of pictures here, really! Good times and great racing at the Generac 500 at Road America.
Couple of images of my new saddle bags installed on my bike. Yays.
Mom's pictures from her European adventures with Corinne (and later me)
I went to Venice, by way of Frankfurt... and then accidentally spent a night in Warsaw on the way home.
I think the pictures do a pretty good job of describing this one.

Tim's birthday party, good mellow times.
I went for a ride to a recommended twisty road, and it was fun. I learned a lot, and learned that if there's gravel in a turn, you need to slow down more than you think you do. No, I didn't crash.
Whee, pictures taken with mom's waterproof cameras on our 2006 trip to Ohiopyle, PA.
Images of the installation of my StarCom1 Advance bike communication system.
This lets me receive phone calls, use the FRS radio and listen to music all through the same ear phones, and automatically volume adjusted to compensate for wind / engine noise.
Just a couple of pictures of Heather, Eric and me from when I rode my motorcycle to Alabama to keep Eric company on one of his trips to visit his GF.
Some pictures Corinne took of me with my bike :)
First images of the new motorcycle parked outside of my apartment.
From Corinne's graduation weekend in Durham, North Carolina (Duke University). Many congratulations to her. The pictures are primarily from the Duke Gardens but there are lots of other things to see, and some decent pictures of the family.
From my trip to Paris to hang with Beth and see the sites. What a fantastic trip :)
From a great charity event with folks I work with, two beards, and a lot of head hair were sacrificed for charity in our after work hangout.
I went to Sweden for the Rockbox Developers Conference 2006. Here are the pictures :)
Some few pics from Halloween Chicago Critical Mass and National Skate Patrol Spooky Rave
Wow, that was quite the party! Muchly congratulations again to Kat and Frank Duncan on their recent marriage and new apartment!
Pics from Brooke's place in Minneapolis on 9/17 and 9/18 and from the North Shore Inline Marathon in Duluth, MN. Make sure you read the handwritten poster on Brooke's closet door...
The first pic is Copyright Action Sports International, and the next 3 pics were stolen from Brooke's pictures site at http://bling.properkernel.com/brooke/
Look, it's my new sword, with it's scabbard and frog... and the belt it's worn on. Please note that this is a fully combat ready sword from Badger Blades. I've seen swords made from the same steel by the same person used to hack anvils in half, and seen pieces from cars they've hacked apart :)
This is the space I work in at Orbitz.
Taken at Renaissance Festiveal in Minnesota, much fun was had. Great to see all the shows I've loved for years, and chat with some of the workers who remember me from year to year. Of course good to hang out with our friends from MN too.
Mmm, fun weekend of camping, watching racing, and biking. I didn't take any pics of the biking, but hopefully they will be up at http://www.pelotonride.org/ soon.
Uhh, I got a new bike, and some new shoes.
Pics from the Bristol Renaissance Faire again. The two videos (there are only two, right?) are first of me being insulted by Christoph the Insulter, and then of a very amusing several minute finale insult on a woman named Julie.

For details on the weekend, of course, visit my LJ==homepage.
Fun trip up to Door County, Wisconsin with the mother, much fun was had, jet skis, little canoe and sail boat were piloted, etc. The mother even drove a jet ski at high speed and stuff :):)
From my first trip to Bristol Renaissance Festival since a dozen years ago or so when I went with the father. Met a couple of lovely ladies on the first day which rather caused Jacques and myself to return for a second day. Very good times, very lovely ladies.
Just some pics of the mess my apt is.
These are pictures and videos taken at the Oak Street slalom course. The juggler with the black balls is Dave and works at Orbitz with me, uhh yeah.

So I came home early this morning to find a minor lake forming out in the mail/lobby area of my building. So far the building manager hasn't done anything about it, but I did call him... whee! It's slippery out there.
Pictures of the gift that Alex, Joseph, Eric and I got for Kank, and a few pics I snapped at the wedding.
The few pics I took at Frank's bachelor party, nothing special, I didn't pull out the camera till people were already starting to 'wind down'.
Wow, that was a lot of RSXs at Buffalo Wild Wings :)
Some pictures of cars from Hot Import Nights, Chicago, 2005.
Pictures of my repair job from a dropped iRiver H340
This is how to install a window air conditioner when there are bars in the way. Or at least how I did it. Using no tools other than my hands, and no supplies but some packing tape and things I had lying around.
Well here are all of my pics and videos from the ClubRSX Panama City Beach, Florida meet. Was a really good time, and I got some pretty good pics and videos of our cars, and the beach and stuff. I apologize for the blurry pics at night, but it's hard to get good pictures w/o blur while moving in limited light conditions. The videos range up to 30m so please only download them if you actually want to see them.
Just a few pics I took at my recent little party... had the camera mounted on a tripod with a view of a lot of the room for this, used the remote to take pics.
Pictures mom had on her computer that I wanted copies of.
Mom's pics from the smokies
Mom's pictures from Ohiopyle, PA
A few pics from cosmic bowling with IIT at Waveland Bowl in Chicago
Pictures of taking apart my iRiver H340 Digital Audio Player... that was a bit nerve wracking, but now I know that I can change HDDs or batteries if I want to :)
Pics from our _small_ Superbowl party at Eric's place... good times, nice mellow no drinking party :)
Ahh, the R1bst0ners, these are pics of my co-workers, and former co-workers, and our office at R1bts0ne Systems. (The letters in the company name were changed on request).
From my trip to NYC to visit with my friend Sam and his boyfriend Mat. I had a great time there, NY is such a great city full of history and all that good stuff. Fun times.
The few pics I took over New Years...
Ahh, the trip to Gatlinburg, good times. Seriously, it was fun. We left Thursday, drove to somewhere South of Indianapolis, and then stopped there until Saturday morning. Yes, I mean we were stuck in the car, on I65 until the next morning. After that the trip went well, we hiked a bunch on Saturday, saw "The Aviator", chilled in the hotel, hiked more, drove home. Here are lots of pics. They are PRETTY!
3 pics from a big clubrsx meet at Unos in Schaumburg
Pictures from Kat and Frank's holiday party. Good times, lots of food, and Frank and Brandon were quite drunk. Uhh some pictures are blurry -- to match the amount of alcohol consumed to that point. **shifty eyes** Oh, Alex took some of these, cuz I gave him my camera some of the time.
Ok, so I took some pictures, but they are mostly just of the road while driving... Just 2 of me and H in her apartment. Sorry, it was a rush of a trip so I didn't have as much of a chance to take pics as I would have liked.
Pics from the first snow of winter '04/'05 in chicago from mom's camera at mom's place
Hazy pics of the eclipse -- Lots of different exposures in here, for fun. Really pretty pics. Oh, and these are not chronological, because I suck and overwrote a whole bunch of them... Dangit
These are pictures from Jessica's Halloween party -- GREAT TIMES. Just a note about this party: Kelly and Jessica are fucking beautiful. I mean I knew that before, but this was quite a reminder. They are both happily taken though, so *shrug*. Any way, the last few pics are from my trip home in the morning - because I have a thing about taking pictures of trains and train tracks. Yeah, I'm really glad that Jessica found me, because she hangs out with a really cool crowd of people that I'd otherwise be totally missing. Thanks for including me!
Ok so, I went out for a drive last night. I drove about 200 miles at various speeds (all faster than I should drive, but none above 100mph). On my way home, about 2 blocks from my apartment, I'm making a right turn at a 5 corner intersection. I'm on the straight cross street, making the long right turn onto the further of the two northbound branches. The bus is on the single south street entering the intersection, making the right turn onto the closer of the northbound branches. What this means is that the bus and I each have to cross the path of one other branch in order to get to our target branches. I'm waiting at a red light, the light turns green, after I realize this, I begin to enter the intersection, glance to my left, see a cab also entering the intersection. I proceed through the intersection, looking to my right to observe pedestrian traffic and complete my right turn. As I reach just past the half way point of my turn, something hits me in the left rear quarter-panel. As I get my bearing, I realize I'm still rolling and my car seems to operate normally, so I pull off to the side of my target branch. I am then approached by the taxi who had been to my left who wants to give me his information to act as a witness that the bus ran the red light (this is when I find out exactly what happened). He had seen the bus and stopped in time, but with his vehicle blocking my view, I could not see the bus and proceeded. The saving grace in all of this is that he hit me in the rear and not the front door (I came 1 ft from serious injury). CTA is self insured, so they are probably going to try and get out of paying for this, but State Farm has my 3 witnesses on their side if that happens. Anywho, here are pics of what a bus does to an RSX.
Pics of the parts of my comptech short shift adapter -- I'll try to take installation progress pics too.
Pictures from my first ever auto cross event. Very fun. Must do more. There aren't any pictures of me, because well, I was driving at the time, if I get copies from YuLiang, I'll post them.
Good times and great ... yeah times. At the ClubRSX meet started out at Busse Woods Forest Preserve, it was cold. Moved to Portillos near Woodfield, it was warm. Moved to Starbucks, it was hot. Moved to Goose Island Brewery, it was mellow. Here are some pics and vids -- the vids are just of me walking around cars, nothing terribly exciting, but if you want to dl them and watch them, feel free!
A couple pics of me from the DTD paint party... WHEE!! Totally should have gone in years past... oh well :)

These pics are courtesy of Ryan Hos(I can't spell the rest of his last name).
These are some pics I took with the achieve digital camera back in senior year of high school which I just dug up out of my hard drive... weird. It is weird to see these pics of me, and of me and Emily and stuff. Ahh, memories.
From the GM Auto Show in Motion... good times... there are pics here of me and my mother driving Corvettes, and various other cars, and some engines, and stuff. Hope you enjoy the pics.
Pics of Alyssa after Homecoming... eating and painting her toe nails...
Homecoming was fun... bad music, but fun... probably my last HS dance...
At 22, I guess it is finally time to stop giong to HS dances.
Here are some pics of lost.lostlogicx.com's new case, and the mess I made in my room installing said new case
Pictures of my apartment at 2827 N. Burling in Chicago, moved in Aug. 31, 2004.
More pics from MN... taken by Keri and Jorge... There might be some hurricane pics in here too, cuz Jorge is from Florida.
Pics from Frank, Kat, Eric and my trip to the Twin Cities for Renaissance Festival and State Fair.
Even more pictures and videos from Road America this time from Mike's camera(s)!
More pics from Road America 500, from YuLiang's camera. Wait, not all of these are from RA500... Whatever, most of them are.
From the Road America 500 August 20-22, 2004. Me, Mike, YuLiang, Carl (Mike's youngest brother), Dan (Mike's younger brother), Le-Anne (Mike's girlfriend), Holy (Carl's girlfriend), and Dan's girlfriend who's name I forget had a blast, got sunburned, froze our asses off at night, and generally had a great weekend. I hope you enjoy all the pics and videos. NOTE: The videos are scattered in here somewhere, just do a find on 'mp4' and you'll find them.
Pixtures from Hot Import Nights, 2004. Lots of good pics of cars, and of models. Man of the model pics were taken by Ted and or Roger. HIN was fun, none of our RSXs won anything, but it was still cool to have 8 of em showing together. Maybe some year I'll have my car up to showing.
Pictures from mom and my trip to Mount Baldy in the Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore ... fun times!
Round 2 of caliper painting... some cool pics of the cars at Mike's place, unfortunately, none of us did as good of a job on our back calipers as our fronts.
Pictures of me, Jason, and Mike painting our front calipers at Mike's place.
Good times and great oldies ... or it was hot, we didn't know what we were doing, but had a blast any way.
Pics from the Club3G + ClubRSX trip to Cedar Point (just pics of cars, no way I was bringing my cam. to the park).
Pics from the Fourth of July celebration at my mom's place in 2004. Most of them are of fireworks, I haven't deleted the ones that didn't come out yet, so a lot are crappy, but enjoy nonetheless.
Pics from the ClubRSX meet at Hooters Schaumburg on July 3, 2004
Taken on the IIT campus, with friends from IIT, of friends of IIT, etc.
Pictures taken at MARCon 39 in 2004, including some of Amanda and a lot of distant shots of the masquerade ball. The Con was kinda disappointing to me this year, but that was partly just because of some ... stuff? between Amanda and myself. Next year, Larry Niven is going to be there, so I'll probably be back :)
Ok, this is all the pictures from my digital camera since I bought it,
as you may imagine, there are a lot ... this page will take a very long
time to load. Eventually I'll sort these out ... ok, maybe not.

Update, I've sorted out the pics of Heather (most of them) and of the
Ribstoners, so this page is significantly shorter than it was.
These are mostly pics of Heather taken on my new digicam, but also some pics of her family, and of her room and stuff.

Included here are pics of the day she moved out of IIT... *cry* bye, Heather!
Pictures from my airplane and hotel when I want to Tulsa, OK for business ... *shrug*
Pictures from my friend Becca's dance performance ... in a dark auditorium,
tons of them ... most didn't come out too hot, sorry.
Pictures from my mother and my trip to Door County Wisconsin in June of 2004.
Pictures downloaded from 01-16-03:
These pics are:
At my grandmother's house (3 images)
At dinner with my grandfather (several)
Party in my room on 01-16-03 (early morning ;-)) (several)
I haven't edited these at all, they are REALLY blurry a lot.
Pics from the New Years Eve party 2002-2003 at my mom's house :) Good party.
Pictures of me and my family from 12-29-02... we had to go to dinner with my grandpa for his birthday after having been up all night driving, but we still look good :)

Eric... eric's been my roommate for over a year and a half now... we really do well as roomies, I'm a sloppy asshole and he is a neat nice guy... but it really works out OK, and we have the coolest room ever cuz there are always friends in it and stuff. The pics I have of eric are... well somewhat special, as you will soon understand. :)
Melinda I met when I was like 9 or 10 at summer camp. Well that was the first time I met her. At the time I thought she was incredibly beautiful and completely amazing... I proceeded to fall in love with her for like 5 years straight. We 'dated' for like 1 wk in 7th grade (barely saw eachother during that time) and then again for like 1 wk in Sophomore year of HS (was it soph?) again barely saw eacother during that time... We kinda figured it out after that, and have been just friends since then. She's probably one of the people on earth who understands me best, and I'm always glad to have her as a friend. I can think of only 1 person on earth who I've been friends with for longer than I have Melinda, but I barely ever talk to her so it just isn't quite the same. It's strange, I don't really have all that much in common with Melinda aside from religion (lack), and love of books, but there is a kinda unique kind of closeness to our friendship. yay.
Lynn is a real sweetheart, she and I dated for a few months (how long I don't know) end of sophomore year of college. Much good times, and I learned a lot from it. I think she's just a little too boisterous for or something but I'm not really sure what it is that made us not last long, regardless we didn't. However we are still friends and all that.
**hugs lynn**
*happy sigh*
Jessica was my second girlfriend. We had probably the most fun a relationship can possibly be w/o the serious underpinnings... I mean we were kinda serious and really cared about eachother, but it was never clingy scary weird... we had a blast, dated on and off for like 9 months or something. Good times.

**cheers Jessica**
I met Heather somewhere near the end of my first semester in college. I thought... and think that she is really cute, and well at the time kinda started hitting on her... well she was quite un-single at the time, and that didn't work so well... at some point she pretty much stopped even being in the same room with me due partially to my annoying behaviour... well completely due to that... but also her kinda controlling bf (understatement). Anywho, as of the writing of this, Heather and I are once again really close friends, and that makes me really happy, I hope more comes of it, and watch my journal for more info. (Hard to keep a pics entry up to date with current events :))
My highschool gymnastics team was like a family to me, my coach like a father. I don't know what I would have done with myself in HS if not for gymnastics. It prepared me in many ways for life the universe and everything, and helped me to build a strong body that has served me well since.
Glenbard west gymnastics was 2nd in state 2 times while I was on the team, and I personally was 10th in state on the still rings, and a state semifinalist on the rings and highbar.
Thanks gymnasts and Coach Kafka for everything.
Emily was my first girlfriend... I loved her truly, and because she was my first love and such I will always love her. It was unfortunate that our relationship ended as it did, not because I necessarily think that she and I should have stayed together forever, but because I hurt her so much by being a control freak with an attitude toward the end of our relationship. Still, I think that Emily and I served a very important purpose for eachother, as we were eachother's first for lots of things (kiss, gf/bf, etc). Since we dated, neither Emily nor I has really had much trouble finding opposite sex companionship, and I can't help but wonder if we had something to do with that in eachother's lives.
I don't know what exactly to say about Amanda, she is one of the most amazing people I've ever interracted with. I love her to death, and she will always have a very special place in my heart. The times we've spent together are some of my favorite memories. Oh and she is (to me) incredibly beautiful, but I kinda wonder if that is only because of who she is in my mind...
