20080330 Mount Baker
I finally made it out to another local-ish mountain. Good times, although I
didn't ride that well really. I also definitely fell off a cliff.

a_canyon.avi Fun run down Canyon, pretty busy back there, but the snow was still pretty decent.

best_trees_of_the_day.avi I found these trees edging along the Canyon, I think... kinda a fun lil' chute doohocker.
dropping_into_the_canyon_the_long_way.avi There were lots of ways to get to the Canyon, this was the best one I found.
getting_passed_on_daytona.avi Daytona had this fun banked wall chute thing going on. Some genious repeatedly calls out 'on your left' to me, so I get way over to the right and he passes me on the right. :-\.
heading_for_a_cliff.avi You can just barely see the cautionary rope that I duck under to get into the back country. Then I enjoy some awesome powder (ok, I fell in the awesome powder quite a bit) for a little while. Then I fall next to a smell orange sign that says "cliff".
You can just see as I slide past the sign the narrow opening that drops down a cliff... I go down that way. It's a 25-30' cliff. I clamber, slide, etc. for the first 15' or so and then drop the last 10-15'.
heading_from_a_cliff.avi Believe it or not, after squeezing my way down the cliff, through the trees, bouncing off of one of them as I dropped the last 10-15ft, I landed on my feet and kinda surfed away in my micro avalanche. You can see the snow moving under me at the beginning of those one.
